Candidates and their treasurers must complete state campaign finance training

Candidates with a campaign committee, and their treasurers, must take a state campaign finance course within 30 days of registering; committees already registered get a later deadline. A committee that misses the deadline cannot accept contributions until it is done. A similar local ethics training counts.
