Factory-certified EV chargers can go into service without a field inspection
Factory-certified commercial EV chargers can go into service without a sealer or service agency, and operators must report them to the county sealer within 72 hours. Any competent person may do repairs not affecting the meter, with written notice to the sealer within a week.
