Boric acid vaginal suppositories stay on sale but need a pregnancy warning

Vaginal suppositories with added boric acid must carry a label warning against use when pregnant, trying to conceive or nursing. The state ban on boric acid in cosmetics doesn't reach these products until later, and never does if the FDA regulates them as drugs.

Who it affects

Makers and sellers of boric acid vaginal suppositories, and their customers

When
